πŸ“Œ Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sr. Compliance Officer to report directly to our Managing Director. This essential role ensures that our business adheres to legal and regulatory requirements within its operating jurisdiction, specifically focusing on the online gambling industry.


βœ… Your Responsibilities  

  • License Applications: Assist with the preparation and submission of license applications and renewals, including the compilation of necessary documentation and evidence of compliance.

  • Opportunities: Proactively contribute to the company's expansion roadmap by highlighting licensing and market entry opportunities. 

  • Ownership: As the appointed Compliance key function holder, the ideal candidate will serve as the primary contact with the relevant authority, ensuring that all operational activities comply with respective regulatory frameworks. Additionally, this role involves managing compliance-related inquiries and issues from both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Audit: Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance. Identify potential areas of vulnerability and risk. Develop corrective action plans for resolution.

  • Compliance Monitoring Framework: Create and conduct ongoing compliance monitoring to ensure that all obligations adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Risk: Identify risks and collaborate with the Managing Director to develop and suggest mitigation strategies.

  • Operational Support: Assist our Operations team with resolving compliance-sensitive cases and customer disputes as they arise.

  • Report: Provide reports to Senior Management with any outcomes of compliance efforts and proposals for changes. 

  • Policy and Procedures: Develop, implement and review company policies and procedures to ensure compliance. Create and update regulatory documentation to ensure the legislation is up-to-date. 

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Create and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, and work closely with various departments to ensure that compliance procedures are integrated into operational processes.

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry developments, best practices, and suggesting improvements in internal processes to maintain a robust regulatory compliance framework.

  • Compliance Review: Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, to review and approve promotions, games, and other product offerings for regulatory compliance.

  • Training & Guidance: Provide guidance and training to staff on regulatory requirements, changes, and best practices.


πŸ‘€ What You Bring to the Table  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a compliance role within the online gambling industry.

  • Strong knowledge of international regulatory requirements and best practices in the gaming industry.

  • Diligent and proactive with an ability to work autonomously and within a team.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, whilst working under pressure.

  • Capability to identify risks, escalate findings, and suggest mitigation strategies to the Managing Director.

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication skills to liaise with external Authorities and Regulatory bodies

  • High level of integrity and ethical professionalism.

  • Advanced-Fluent English language, both written and spoken. Any additional language is a plus.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
